Book as a group or individually, our full day hire suits enthusiastic anglers looking for a great day out. We require a minimum 4 people, either as a group or sharing and a maximum of 10. Bare rod hire is €20, a rod with two sets of tackle is €25. Full day hires depart from Cleggan Pier at 11a.m, returning at 6pm approx.
All sailings are weather dependent and at the skippers discretion. Please call the day before your trip to confirm.
Half Day Hire : €400
Book as a group or individually, our half day hire suits families and those looking for a more relaxed fishing trip. Again, a minimum 4 people, either as a group or sharing. Maximum of 10 rods. Bare rod hire is €20, a rod with two sets of tackle is €25. For half days we depart from Cleggan Pier at 2.15pm, returning at 6pm approx.
Again, all sailings are weather dependent and at the skippers discretion. Please call the day before your trip to confirm.

We went out with Patrick with Western Kingfishing out of Cleggan, and had a fantastic time! Authentic, working fishing trip from the harbor in Cleggan Ireland. Patrick worked super hard for us, kept us catching and reeling fish in all day. Lots of room on the boat, and lots of experience from Patrick. We caught pollock, mackerel and cod, and had lots of smiles all day. Can’t recommend enough.

We have been out with Johnny twice - on both occasions we had a brilliant time. Everyone caught fish and, cleaned and gutted by Johnny, we cooked them for dinner.
Johnny is a true expert and you are in safe and experienced hands. As well as the fishing the views of the islands and the mainland are spectacular. All in all a great experience, we cannot recommend it enough.
